Particularities: This Cataglyphis species can be kept at room temperature. Their legs are unusually long and allow them to move very fast. In their natural environment, they dwell mainly in steppes and semi-deserts. When running, they stretch their abdomen upwards. They burrow into sand in dog-like fashion.
