Particularities: Pachycondyla villosa ants live on trees, whereupon they build their impressive nests. They build relatively small colonies and are strikingly bright. Ants from this species communicate very actively with one another and have excellent eyesight. In suitably fitted out tropical tanks, these can become socialised.
